Enforceable Undertaking Response

Rick Otton Explains How To Buy A House For A Dollar

Property expert Rick Otton agrees with the Western
Australia Consumer Protection regarding his book “How To
Buy A House for a Dollar” that the title could be taken
literally and confuse consumers who may believe it’s
possible to purchase property for just one dollar.

“Anyone who has read my book, ‘How To Buy A House for A
Dollar’ or attended one of my property events, knows that
you literally can’t buy a house for one dollar. In order to
avoid any confusion for WA consumers I’ve agreed to clarify
statements they feel are misleading ,” said Rick Otton.

As stated in a media release issued by the Western Australia
Consumer Protection on 9 September 2013 ” by signing the
enforceable undertaking” Mr Otton agrees to better explain
how to buy a house for a dollar. All parties have agreed “Mr
Otton and his companies have not admitted any wrongdoing
under the Australian Consumer Law.”

“How To Buy A House For A Dollar” is a fresh and innovative
way for average Australians to buy their own home.

Rick Otton’s “How To Buy A House For A Dollar” has been
voted by Money Magazine and Dymocks Bookstores as one
of the top ten finance titles for 2013.
